Finding Watched Reels on Facebook
For iPhone Users
Launch the Facebook App: Start by opening the Facebook application on your iPhone. Ensure you have the latest version of the app installed for a seamless experience.
Go to Video Tab: Next, go to the videos tab (formerly facebook watch) from the bottom menu of your iOS app;
Tap on User Icon: After you land on Videos tab, where you browse Facebook video, Tap on the user icon on top of your app;
Tap On History: Now, You will see a set of options, i.e. Mobile data use, Saved videos, History etc, All you need to do is to tap on “History” option to view your saved facebook reels or reels you watched on facebook;
Browse Your Watched Reels: Upon selecting this option, you will find a list of videos you’ve watched recently. This includes both regular videos and Reels. Look through this list to find the Reels you’ve watched.
It is important to note that Facebook does not currently categorize Reels separately from other video content. Therefore, your watched Reels will be listed together with other videos you’ve viewed. Tap on User Icon: Next you need to tap on User icon on top right of the app;
Tap On History: Now, You will see a set of options, i.e. Saved reels, Cellular data use, and History. To view Saved Facebook reels, Tap on “Saved reel” but in our case, to view reels you watched on Facebook, Tap on “History”;
Browse Your Watched Reels: Upon tapping the “Videos Watched” option, you will see a list of videos you’ve recently watched.
This list includes both standard videos and Reels. You can browse through this list to revisit the recently watched Reels.
For Desktop Users
Open Facebook: Begin by navigating to the Facebook website on your preferred web browser. Make sure you’re using the most recent version of your browser for the best experience.
Log into Your Account: If you’re not already logged in, enter your credentials on the Facebook login page and sign in to your account.
Access Your Activity Log: On your profile page, below your cover photo and to the right of your profile picture, you will find an option “Settings and Privacy”, click on it;
Then, You need to click “Activity Log” from the next menu;
Click on it to view a complete record of your Facebook activities, You will have various options to search reels i.e. Videos You’ve Searched for, Videos You’ve Watched, and much more;
Filter Your Activity: Within the Activity log, you will find a “Filter” option on the left side of the page;
You can filter your Activity based on Date.
How to delete or Clear Watch History?
In order to clean your watch history on Facebook, first you need to repeat the process which we have described above until “Access Your Activity”, or in short, You click on your profile icon, select “Settings and Privacy” and then click on “Activity Log”;
Now, choose one of the options i.e. Vidoes you’ve searched for or Videos You’ve watched or you can click on “Search history”;
In the next page, click on “Clear video Watch history” on the top right of the page as below;
You can repeat the same for the rest of your activity logs of your Facebook account.
