Who We Are

This policy explains how Kwebby Pvt Ltd ("Kwebby") collects and uses information when you use kwebby.com, its free tools, the client portal at /crm and Kwebby services. Contact us through the contact page with any privacy question.

Information We Collect

  • Usage and technical data: pages visited, tools used, browser type and IP address, collected in server logs and by analytics.
  • What you enter into a tool: text, URLs, domains, IP addresses or files you submit. Many tools run fully in your browser and send nothing to Kwebby. Tools that need a server say so on the page.
  • Forms and accounts: name, email, phone, company and project details you send through the quote, contact or newsletter forms, and the account, messages, files and payment records in the client portal.

How Tool Data Is Processed

  • AI tools: the article rewriter, grammar checker, readability report, AI minify, keyword suggestions, config generators, fake person generator and the image to text (OCR) tools send your text or image to Kwebby's server, which forwards it to an AI model through OpenRouter. Kwebby's server does not store this content, and Kwebby only routes requests to model providers that do not store prompts or use them for training. OpenRouter and the model provider process it under their own policies.
  • Downloaders: the video and audio downloaders fetch the public URL you submit on Kwebby's server, sometimes through proxy providers such as Bright Data. Downloaded files are kept in temporary storage only until they are sent to you, then deleted.
  • URL, domain and IP checkers: the domain, URL or IP you enter is sent to the services needed to answer the check, which can include Google APIs (Custom Search, PageSpeed Insights, Safe Browsing), RDAP and WHOIS servers, public DNS resolvers, DNS blacklists, ip-api.com, HackerTarget, Open PageRank, the Internet Archive, Microlink and thum.io.
  • Rates and prices: the currency and bitcoin tools load public rates from ExchangeRate-API and CoinGecko. They do not send your amounts.
  • Embeddable widgets: the flag counter widget you place on your own site sends each of your visitors' IP addresses to api.country.is to look up a country. If you use the widget, tell your visitors in your own privacy policy.

How We Use Information

We use information to run the tools and answer requests, prevent abuse (rate limits and security logs), deliver client projects, send invoices and project emails, improve the site, and send the newsletter to people who subscribe.

Cookies and Analytics

Essential cookies keep you signed in to the client portal and remember preferences. Google Analytics measures traffic and uses its own cookies. Kwebby does not run ads. Analytics is not loaded in the client portal. You can block cookies in your browser settings.

Service Providers

Besides the tool providers above, Kwebby uses: Cloudflare (network and security), Dodo Payments (invoice payments in the client portal), an SMTP email provider (transactional and project emails) and Google (analytics). Each processes data under its own privacy policy.

Retention

Tool inputs processed on the server are not stored, apart from short-lived security and rate-limit records. Client portal data is kept for the length of the client relationship and as required for accounting. Newsletter subscribers can unsubscribe at any time.

Your Choices

You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information Kwebby holds about you through the contact page. Kwebby keeps records the law requires, such as paid invoices.

Data Security

Kwebby uses HTTPS, access controls and stores client files outside the public web root. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Kwebby may update this policy. The date below shows the latest version.
