The challenge
The client in this portfolio concept is Milo Dental, a family dental practice with a simple goal: make the first visit feel easier before a patient walks through the door.
The UI/UX needed to support parents booking for a child, nervous visitors and people comparing treatment options. Each visitor needed to find relevant care, understand what to expect and reach the booking flow without getting lost in long pages or unfamiliar terms.
What we built
Milo’s UI uses warm cream backgrounds, deep green text, sage sections and yellow accents. Rounded buttons, an arched portrait and generous spacing create a calm visual style. Short headings and clear page sections make the content easy to scan.
The client’s treatment offering is organised into 12 care guides, with search and category filters. Related treatments and clear booking links give visitors a next step on each page. An interest picker offers a starting point based on what brings someone to the site.
The UX makes room for patient comfort. Visitors can choose preferences such as explanations, time for questions or a pause. First-visit guidance answers practical questions, while the booking preview separates choosing a service and time, entering details and reviewing the request into three steps.
The design also covers the journal, FAQs, contact form, optional map and patient account screens. Consistent navigation, button styles and form layouts tie these pages together. Booking, contact and account interactions are presented as previews.
Results
Milo Dental’s finished UI/UX concept brings treatment information, first-visit guidance and booking into a consistent experience. The design includes 12 treatment guides, three journal articles and a three-step booking preview.
The client concept has a clear visual identity and connected routes for families, new patients and visitors exploring care. This case study presents the completed design. Usability testing and live booking data have not been provided, so measured improvements are not claimed.
